Childhood Memories

This is a story obout my childhood that I copied from my paper this semester. It was one of  exam’s question. I should write about my childhood memories. I thought it was a good idea to share on blog, so I took a picture after finishing it in the class and added some stories here that haven’t written yet.
As usual, sorry about grammatical errors and other mistakes. Enjoy reading...................................................................................................................................................
When I was kid, my childhood was very happy. I had many friends in the same age like me, in my neighborhood. I used to play with my friends at my grandparents' house as I lived there. We played many games such as hide and seek, playing marbles, cooking, local softball (kasti) and other traditional games. At school, I used to play local softball with my classmates. We usually played it in the morning before the class began, also when we got break time. We were always happy at that time. There were two teams, boys and girls. The boys only two, whereas the girls’ team is the whole girls in the class.
After school, we went to the mosque,to study qur’an. My friend and I were always running because we didn’t want to be tested at last. We were afraid of the teacher as he looks scary for us when he was angry. After that, we played again. My friends and I played marbles at my grandparents’ backyard. Someone who got lose, should give their marbles to the winner. I ever won some times and it made me happy. At night, we used to play hide and seek, especially before weekend. Moreover, when there was a full moon. It was a good time to play  it. Sometimes, we got electricity off which made the game more fun. In weekend’s morning, I played cooking with girl-friends. It didn’t just pretend to cooking but we practiced it, real cooking. Yes, we made a dish in one of my friends’ house. We got the ingredients from our each house. One brings the vegetable, the others bring onion, chilies, and other seasonings. Sounds fun isn’t it? We oftened searching fish in the river too, as our home is near the river. We use “seser” (a net with bamboo on its surrounded) to catch the fish. Then we fried the fish in my friend’s house. So yummy, eating fresh fish from the river with friends. It’s a beautiful memory of childhood.
My childhood memories were very delightful. I was an active kid. Playing with friends and got experiences that never come twice and I never forget. A happiness that only comes once in a life time, as a kid. We don’t think much, just think about happiness and fun. If I could turn back time, I would be very happy because became a kid we just have fun and fun.

Ps:
One of my hobbies at that time was swimming in the river, ya in the RIVER. I didn’t have swimming pool and I have never swum in swimming pool (don’t laught it please). I was swimming almost every evening. More than that, the deep of the river is more than 1,5 meter which is more than my tall. I use a banana’s  stem as a floating (can you imagine it?) also, I jump from a building at the edge of the river that its high is more than 5 meter. Usually, after swimming, my friends and I seached taro’s plant that just finished harvesting, went to our grandma’s friend orange’s garden, make a tend from brances of tree that was covered by banana leaves, then burned the taros and enjoyed it.
There are still many childhood activities of mine but I think it can represent the whole. My childhood and 90’s people childhood are different with kids now. Most of kids now just playing games on their gadget and e.t.c. I am so grateful that my I could explore the nature since I was kid.

That’s all my (short) experiences’ story of my childhood. Hope you guys enjoy and makes you flashback on your childhood too haha... and if you want to comment, just write it down bellow or if you just want to be “silent reader”? it’s up to you. Thank you so much for reading my blog.
