Shocking Earthquake

Earthquake

That night, I did not sleep yet because I was doing a KKL report that should submit on Monday. It was not too difficult, I just need some information from Google but it was very hard to find the website. It made me quite dizzy too as I have to go to Jogja next morning. So I decided to listen to music while studying and update post on WA hehe.... Some of my friends went home because tomorrow was  weekend. It made the house very quite even there still some people but they just in their room and busy with themselves.

Everything was okay, it was not something bad like will happen. My friends also still in their room and watch horror movie. Its sound was clear enough to my room, so I turned the music volume up then closed the door. Around at 09.00 pm I brushed my teeth and washed my face as usual. Time flew fast and I felt tired. I decided to turn off my notebook and ready to sleep, but I can’t. I just lying on my bed and with my phone on hands. In other room, my two friends still watching a movie.

I felt like I was really sleepy, then I turned my phone off, put it on the floor not too far from me. After that, I started to close my eyes, but I still could hear my friend open the door and went to the toilet. It was not very long after my friend came into the toilet, suddently, I felt like my bed swang and I heard noisy voice like (grek....grek.....). The swang was very real, then made me realize that it was getting faster, the moving.  I also heard that my friend called my name. I got up as fast as I could, then open the door, while my friend in front of the door too. We were suddently hug and stare each other with mixed feeling after our doors opened. We were affraid, shock, all the feeling mix into one in the same time. Suddently, I realize that it was an earhquake. I said “It’s earthquake! Go down, go down fast!. All of us then run downstairs while shouting “gempa, gempa” (means:earthquake). All people in the house went out to the front yard and our neighbours too. While we were gathering, we still felt the moving. It made us dizzy, and felt like we swang.

After we felt it stoped, we went came back into to the house. My friends of the second floor then gathered in front of my room. We told about our feeling to each other. It was quite  shocking me eventhought that was not my first experience I felt earthquake in Purwokerto, but that one was very fast (7,3 SR) and long. I was ready to sleep and close my eyes. It might around 5 minutes I really sleep before it happened. After that I could not sleep because I was affraid that it would happen again. My girls and I then opened our mobile phone and you know what? There were many status on social media telling about earthquake off course. I called my family, and gratefuly they all were okay. I was so relief. I was tired actually because my assignment did not finish yet, but I had to go to other city the next morning and I could not sleep. I was lying on my bed, with my phone on hand when the issue of tsunamiwas very happening.  I was so affraid thought my home is far from the sea, but still. My social media’s group were so noisy telling about tsunami, sending picture about the broken building, the victim, and others. I needed to sleep that time, but I stil could not. What should I do? Hemmmm....

Finally, around at 02.00 am I decided to go to sleep. My phone still ringing that time, so I turned off the mobile data. At 04.00 am, my phone rang, which made me woke up early as I should go to other city. I went to the train station at 04.50 am then the train went at 05.30 am. Fiuhh... that day was very tiring, and I was not on my mood, so I decided to continue sleeping.
